ABOUT THE AUTHOR & ILLUSTRATOR:
The author, Paula Petree, is a retired kindergarten teacher. She taught for twenty-eight years in a little town in Kentucky where she and her husband raised their two children. Upon retiring, Paula and her husband moved to the mountains of East Tennessee where they now reside. Paula enjoys reading, writing, singing, and playing piano.
The Illustrator, Karen Trybone, is also a retired teacher. She taught middle school students in Tennessee for thirty-five years. Karen now enjoys living near the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. Her hobbies are drawing, painting, singing, and listening to music.
Paula and Karen met seven years ago and became fast friends. They are thankful that God has brought them together and allows them to live out their dreams of writing and illustrating children’s books together.
