Congratulations! You fell in love with swimming. Guess what? That's awesome! Swimming can be rewarding and exciting. As you practice learning new skills and prepare for meets, remember to return to the things you enjoy most.
 
Throughout your swim journey, you will have many ups and downs. Embrace them. There will be days when you don't enjoy practice or your coaches push you harder than you like. These feelings are part of the journey. They are part of growth. Just like your body experiences growing pains that hurt, so do your thinking and emotions. Journaling your steps along the way can help remind you of the roadblocks, accomplishments, and triumphant moments.
