Congratulations! You fell in love with dance. Guess what? Me too! Dance can be rewarding and exciting. Losing yourself in music is one of the best feelings in the world. As you practice and prepare for competitions, plays, or shows, remember to go back to the music and allow your body to move to the sounds as you connect with each beat.
Throughout your dance journey, you will have many ups and downs. Embrace them. There will be days when you don't enjoy practice, or your teachers and coaches are pushing you harder than you like. These feelings are part of the journey. They are part of growth. Just like your body experiences growing pains that hurt, so do your thinking and emotions.
